This lesson was created by the 9th grade world history teachers at Auburn Junior High School in Auburn, Alabama. They developed the lesson in a summer Lesson Study session. In the spring of 2024, one teacher taught the lesson and filmed the implementation so the team could watch the film and reflect on student learning. The team met to revise aspects of the lesson.  The teachers who created the lesson were: Stevie Britton, Kelly Johnson, Misti Meyers, Anne Roge, and Logan Shaddix.
